When I was nine years old I was chosen for the Brams United under nine soccer team. It was exhilarating and scary at the same time. I didn’t know if I was good enough for the team. I didn’t know if I would live up to my expectations.

EXPERIENCE
My experience on the team is very memorable. I have learned many soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and footwork. Our coach gives us a welcoming and safe environment to learn all these skills. I have also made lots of friends that can depend on me and I can depend on them. Our Coach makes it so we can get to know each other better so that we can help each other out on the field and make a connection.

MY KEY TO SUCCESS
My key to success is hard work and with hard work you will get better. As Coach Reid says “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard”. Also it is good to ask questions because if you don’t know what to do there is no point of doing it.

Soccer isn’t just about the game it’s about the friends you make along the way.
